Audience reactions to the "A Century of Swing" tour

Published: 28 Jun 2024

We've recently completed our final few A Century of Swing shows before Autumn 2024, so we thought we would pause and reflect on the first 6 months of the A Century of Swing tour 2024.

Audience feedback from Down for the Count's A Century of Swing tour

We kicked off the Spring 2024 leg of A Century of Swing at Sevenoaks on Sat 13 Jan. Since then, we have performed 15 shows across England and Scotland - some at completely new venues for us, and some at old favourites which we look forward to returning to time and time again.

In each A Century of Swing show, our All-Stars band takes audiences on a whistle-stop tour of the best music of the swing era.

The setlist is different every night, meaning each show is a unique and one-of-a-kind experience!

Audience feedback from Down for the Count's A Century of Swing tour

There have been many blues jams over the last few months, which is a section of the show where the musicians literally make up a whole song on the spot. Whilst we obviously never quite know what is going to happen for this part of the show, they’re always great fun for the musicians and audience members alike.

We have had a wonderful time performing for our audiences, and have been sure to take lots of pictures with our fabulous crowds...
