Your ceremony music is just as important as your reception music, and Down for the Count are able to provide top-quality classical and contemporary music for your church service or civil ceremony.
All of the band members are classically trained musicians, and are able to perform a range of religious and non-religious music.
Our band leader Mike Paul-Smith is a classically trained organist and pianist, and has played at over 150 marriage ceremonies.
Mike will work with you to choose the perfect music for your ceremony - from choosing the processional and recessional music, music before the service and during the signing of the register, and recommending hymns for religious ceremonies.
Ceremony Music - Nimrod from Enigma Variations
During the signing of the register, entertain your guests with a performance from some fantastic musicians. We have four options available: a cellist, trumpeter, saxophonist or singer.
These musicians will usually be accompanied by our pianist or organist, but may be available separately.
The musicians can perform a wide variety of classical or contemporary music – get in touch to discuss your ideas.
